The month of December can be a stressful time for professional fundraisers with holiday and year-end giving campaigns in full tilt - but we have a solution! Come join your fellow fundraisers and test your fund development knowledge in a fun, Jeopardy-style game. This game will be a healthy competition between two teams, proving (once again) that fundraising is best handled as a team sport!

In traditional Jeopardy fashion, there will be six categories of questions: Who said it, Fundraising Basics, Donor Relations, Annual Fund, Major Gifts, and Fundraising Ethics. You and your teammates will be asked to choose a category and a question in the category worth a specific dollar amount. Don’t forget to provide your answer in the form of a question! While this event will be serious fun, it is sure to help beginners and advanced fundraisers learn a thing or two about raising money for your favorite nonprofit.

The program will include a buffet lunch which will begin at 11:45am, followed by a brief Annual Meeting of AFPECI. The jeopardy game will start at 12:15pm.

Who Should Attend?

Development and Fundraising staff, Nonprofit Executive Directors, and Board Members.

Learning Objectives:

  • Refresh your knowledge on the best pointers from well-know fundraising authors and speakers.
