Benefits
As a member of the East Central Illinois Chapter you will be part of a group of fundraising professionals from a variety of nonprofit organizations. East Central Illinois Chapter offers luncheon programs on the third Friday of most months, presents special seminars featuring experts in the fundraising field, and hosts an annual National Philanthropy Day awards event. AFP ECI members also have the opportunity to be a part of the Mentor Program.
Area Served:
The East Central Illinois Chapter serves an area generally within 75 miles of Champaign-Urbana, with the exception of Bloomington which is served by the Central Illinois Chapter in Peoria. Communities served by the East Central Illinois Chapter include Danville, Mattoon, Charleston, Effingham and Decatur.

2022 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION: Due December 6th!
The Association of Fundraising Professionals seeks, embraces, and engages diverse individuals, groups, and organizations with a broad representation of experiences, perspectives, thoughts and cultures within the fundraising profession. AFP-East Central Illinois first offered this scholarship in 2020, understanding both the economic impact on our communities after the pandemic, and also the need to invest in professionals who bring diverse backgrounds into our AFP-ECI membership. The scholarship covers both national and local dues.
Please apply for this scholarship if your organization or you personally have experienced hardship in the past two years, or if you represent a diverse background.

- Diverse Backgrounds: Any fundraising professional who brings diverse backgrounds in race, ethnicity, gender, religion, physical ability, age, geography, sexual orientation, gender identity & expression, and income.
